 A Reiki session begins with an intake interview and explanation of Reiki...then a treatment on a massage table   The practitioner will lightly touch the body (or hover over the body) to direct the Reiki energy to areas in need.  The body uses its own intelligence to focus the Reiki energy to where it is needed most.  Most often the client feels relaxed and /or energized after the session.

Reiki is a system of healing based on ancient wisdom.

It was rediscovered in the middle of th 19th century by Dr. Mikao Usui of Japan.

Reiki can be defined as Universal Life Force Energy. Reiki is light touch modality to bring energy to the body to heal and balance 

 Reiki has 3 levels and is passed and initiated with an attunement.  Once a person has been opened to be a channel for Reiki, concentrated Life Force Energy starts flowing through his hands and he will retain the ability for the rest of life.
